Pain.

It's been long since i wrote,
i know,
i have been trying to move on,
let go.

The pain that i felt,
i wanted to end,
i stayed away from people,
i avoided the blend.

I wanted to fade away,
didn't wish to be seen,
but this heart within me throbbed,
to see you, it was keen.

I accepted that you left,
did not know what was more to be dealt,
but this pain,
it demanded to be felt.
