Mistake.

It is you on my mind all day,

I tried hard to close its gate,

wanted to prevent  you from entering  it,

gotta stop thinking before its too late,

Life  would be different without you,

it sure as hell would be hard,

but atleast if that would have been the case,

my heart wouldn’t have a guard.

No, you didn’t do anything wrong,

no, you probably didn’t cheat,

but you live your life like there’s no me,

only your independence is bittersweet.

It’s you on my  mind all day,

your memories, they’re a headache

maybe its time I learn to let go,

maybe at “hello” I  made a mistake.
